"My approach with this score was to mirror the struggle and desperate lengths Malachi is willing to go by also balancing the tenderness of his character and connection with his mother. To help portray this I used soft synths, solo strings and piano, which is mainly heard on the opening and final track, balanced with emotive and also harsh chamber strings which comes together on the track 'So Beautiful...' I also wrote the music featured in the trailer which is the first track in the soundtrack."
