A compelling family drama, So Long, Farewell is the story of a British-Sir Lankan man who is forced to choose between pursuing his dream job abroad, and taking care of his elderly grandmother who brought him up.
The short explores South Asian parent-child relationships, and the monumental decisions that accompany them. It is the first ever British-Sri Lanken an short film to be made.

"After deciding on a non descriptive and very ambient score, we used instruments like the guitar and piano in a more experimental and atmospheric way. Not wanting to be too noticeable and to help create a unique feel for the film to portray the weight and emotional pressure of the moment."
